Terwijl ik op Tomorrowland was gebeurde er nog iets leuks: de nieuwe Fashionista magazine kwam uit, en guess what? Ik stond erin! Dit keer in de categorie "Who wears it better?", waarin Fashionista telkens twee bloggers eenzelfde kledingstuk toestuurt, om vervolgens te ontdekken welke blogger het item het beste combineert. De foto met mijn eindresultaat werd vergezeld door een kort interview. Benieuwd? Lees dan gauw verder!
ENGLISH: Whilst I was on Tomorrowland, another crazy thing happened: the new edition of Fashionista magazine came out, and guess what? I was in it! This time in the category "Who wears it better?", in which Fashionista always gives two bloggers the exact same piece of clothing, in order to discover which blogger manages to combine the item the best. Ik vond het persoonlijk best wel moeilijk om zo'n tuinbroekje op een originele manier te combineren. Zeker gezien het feit dat zo'n broekje eigenlijk het grootste deel van de outfit al bepaald: het is een onepiece! Toch wist ik erin te slagen om er een leuke twist aan te geven. Al moet ik zeggen dat ik vind dat Judith 'm ook erg leuk gecombineerd heeft. Wel grappig om te zien hoe twee verschillende bloggers eenzelfde kledingstuk op een compleet verschillende manier weten te stylen. Uit de eindresultaten op de site van Fashionista wist ik met 54% de meerderheid van de stemmen in de wacht te slepen, al is dat natuurlijk maar een heel klein verschil. Zo zie je maar: er is niet altijd één oplossing, vaak zijn er meerdere alternatieven!
ENGLISH: I found it quite hard to find a cool, creative and original way to combine a tracksuit like this. Especially given the fact that such a tracksuit consists of one part and thus makes/breaks the outfit on its own. Luckily I did manage to find a way to give a fun twist to the jean tracksuit. However, I do have to say that Judith also combined it in a really cool way. I think it's kind of surprising to see how two different bloggers style the same item in a completely different way. From the end results on the website of Fashionista I concluded that I managed to get a slight majority of the votes with 54%, but that's of course just a tiny difference. This once more shows: there's not always just one solution, sometimes there's more alternatives!
