Een paar dagen geleden heb ik het eerste deel van mijn vakantiekiekjes uit Malta online gepost. Vandaag is het tijd voor #part2... Y'ALL READY FOR THIS?
ENGLISH: A couple of days ago I posted the first part of my holiday snaps from Malta online. Today it's time for #part2... Y'ALL READY FOR THIS?

Mocht je ook plannen hebben om binnenkort eens naar Malta te gaan, mag je volgende highlights zeker niet missen. Mijn top 5!
1. Gozo en Comino
Het stuk van Malta met het blauwste zeewater! Je gaat er met een ferry naartoe, waarbij je op de terugweg nog een aantal stops maakt bij mooie grotten aan de zee. Totally worth it!
2. Valletta
Valletta is de hoofdstad van Malta. Het is niet zo heel groot, maar toch wel een must see. Qua winkels heeft het niet zo heel veel te bieden, maar het is wel erg mooi om te zien en je kunt er je zeker een middagje vermaken. Persoonlijk vond ik het heel interessant om al die Romeinse invloeden in de stad te ontdekken.
3. Paceville
Het uitgaansgebied van Malta, gesitueerd in stad St. Julians, waar wij verbleven. Er is hier elke dag wat te doen en consumpties zijn relatief goedkoop. Aanradertje!
4. Party boat
Wij zijn ook een avond op pad geweest met een party boat. We voeren eerst naar Gozo (het plekje met het blauwe zeewater), wat nu bijna helemaal verlaten was. Daar konden we een duikje nemen met zonsondergang op de achtergrond. Daarna kon het feest beginnen! Feesten op zo'n boot is toch wel echt een unieke ervaring, moet je zeker doen! Elke week varen verschillende party boats uit, dus gewoon even goed op de posters kijken van zodra je er bent.
5. Mellieha bay
Malta telt niet echt veel zandstranden. Een groot deel van de kust bestaat uit kliffen, al zijn er wel een aantal kunstmatig aangelegde zandstrandjes. Een heel groot zandstrand is Mellieha bay! Het water was er een stuk blauwer dan bij ons strandje in St. Julians en er was genoeg te doen, so keep this one in mind!
ENGLISH: In case you have plans to visit Malta as well, you should not miss the following highlights. My top 5!
1. Gozo and Comino
This part of Malta has the bluest sea water! You go there with a ferry, and on your way back the captain makes a stop at some beautiful caves in the sea. Totally worth it!
2. Valletta
Valletta is Malta's capital. It's not really big, but still worth a visit! If you're looking for the perfect place to go shopping, you might not wanna go to Valletta. However, it is a beautiful city and you can definitely entertain yourself there for one afternoon. What I personally really liked were the Roman influences that you can discover all over the city.
3. Paceville
Paceville is the party area of Malta, situated in St. Julians, the place we were staying. There's something going on every day and drinks are quite cheap. You can't miss this one!
4. Party boat
We also went on a party boat one night: a really fun experience! First we went to Gozo (the place with the blue water). There was almost nobody there anymore since it was getting dark. We took a dip in the water while the sun was going down... beautiful! Then it was time to get the party started. Partying on a boat is a unique experience! Every week multiple boats organise these boat parties, so just keep your eyes open!
5. Mellieha bay
Malta doesn't have too many sandy beaches. The majority of the island has cliff coasts, even though there are some artificial sandy beaches. A really big one is Mellieha bay! The water was a lot more blue over there and there was a lot going on, so keep this one in mind!
