Hij staat nu al eeuwen in de zijkolom: het "heilige" jurkje van Dolce & Gabbana. Toch heb ik er nog nooit iets over verteld. Daar moet snel verandering in komen! Dolce & Gabbana inspireerde haar collectie voor deze winter volledig op de kerk, het altaar en de bijhorende mozaïeken (denk aan Venetië en Byzantium). Hoewel de items op zichzelf eerder een beetje kitsch zijn, ziet het geheel er zo sprookjesachtig mooi uit. Mijn complimenten aan het designerduo!
ENGLISH: It has been in the side bar forever now: the "holy" dress of Dolce & Gabbana. Strange enough I've never told you guys something about it before. But that has to change! Dolce & Gabbana inspired her collection for this winter completely on the church, the altar and the associated mosaics (think of Venice and Byzantium). Even though the items by itself can look a bit shoddy, the whole looks like a fairytale to me. My compliments for the designer duo!
Wanneer je dit voor de eerste keer ziet schrik je er vast een beetje van. Althans, dat was bij het geval. Maar ik moet zeggen: hoe vaker ik het zag, hoe leuker ik het begon te worden. Dit is nou eens écht iets anders. Een sterk staaltje design van Dolce & Gabbana. Ik zou het zelf ontzettend gaaf vinden om ook zo'n soort jurkje te hebben met mozaïekprint, figuurtjes en gemstones. Helaas ligt zo'n originele Dolce & Gabbana jurk niet aan mij besteed. Hoorde van een vriendin namelijk dat je er meer dan 10 000 euro voor moet neertellen. (Als het al niet meer is!) Tsjonge. Maar mooi blijft het wel.
ENGLISH: When this is the first time you see it, I bet you won't like it immediately. At least that was the case for me. But I have to say: the more often I saw it, the more I got used to the idea. This is finally something really different. Nice work from Dolce & Gabbana! I would find it insanely cool to have a similar dress with mosaic print, characters and gemstones on it. Unfortunately an original Dolce & Gabbana dress is a bit too expensive for me. A friend of mine told me that they cost more than 10 000 euros. (If it isn't more!) Wow. But still... it's so beautiful.
