Wanneer ik veel tijd heb vind ik het heerlijk om oneindig lang op Tumblr te surfen en op zoek te gaan naar de mooiste afbeeldingen en de meest inspirerende quotes. Vaak stuit ik er ook op nieuwe ideeën voor mijn blog. Zo kwam ik laatst bij onderstaande afbeelding terecht: een shot uit een fashion show van Dilek Hanif. Ik had nog nooit eerder van deze designer gehoord, maar vond de jurk zo mooi dat ik besloot om op nader onderzoek uit te gaan...
ENGLISH: Whenever I have a lot of time, I love to browse endlessly on Tumblr, looking out for the most beautiful images and inspiring quotes out there. Often I come up with a lot of new ideas for my blog whilst doing that. Last time I had such a "session" I ended up on a page with the picture underneath on it. It's a shot from the fashion show from Dilek Hanif. I had never heard of this designer before, but I liked the dress so much that I decided to do some further research...
Wat blijkt? Dilek Hanif komt niet uit Milaan, niet uit Parijs en ook niet uit New York, maar uit Turkije! Vreemd genoeg had ik er dus nog nooit eerder van gehoord, maar na het zien van bovenstaande jurk ben ik echt totally in love. Later bleek wel dat deze jurk uit de spring-summer collectie 2012 komt, dus heel recent is het niet echt. Maar eigenlijk zou dat ook niet mogen uitmaken. Een mooie jurk is een mooie jurk, of niet soms? Wat vinden jullie?
ENGLISH: Apparently Dilek Hanif is not from Milan, neither from Paris, nor from New York, but she's from Turkey! Strangely enough I had never heard of her before, but after I saw this dress for the first time I immediately fell in love. Later I found out that this is a dress from the spring-summer collection 2012, so it's not really recent. But actually that should not make a difference. A pretty dress is a pretty dress, isn't it?
