Ondertussen ben ik weer terug uit Rome! We zijn er vijf dagen geweest, waarvan drie hele dagen. Vond het ontzettend interessant om de Romeinse geschiedenis eindelijk eens "in real life" te zien. Met name het Pantheon vond ik echt de moeite waard. Ik had zelf hoge verwachtingen van de Trevi fontein, maar daar viel helaas niet veel van te zien vanwege verbouwingswerken. Een goed excuus om nog eens naar de Italiaanse hoofdstad te trekken!
ENGLISH: Yesterday I came back from Rome! We spent five days in the city. I really enjoyed seeing the Roman history finally "in real life". I especially liked the Pantheon, that was my favourite monument. I had high expectations of the Trevi fountain, but unfortunately we couldn't see a lot from that because they were doing construction work on the fountain. A good excuse to go another time to the Italian capital in the future!
Tot slot was ik ook dol op vrijwel alles wat ik in Italië gegeten heb. Ik ben sowieso al een fan van Italiaans eten - pizza salami is mijn guilty pleasure - maar dit keer vond ik echt alles wat me voorgeschoteld werd ontzettend lekker: bruschetta, pasta carbonara, broodjes mozzarella, pizza diavola, you name it! ROME, I'LL BE BACK!
ENGLISH: And last but not least: I loved everything I ate in Italy. I've always been a huge Italian food lover - pizza salami is my guilty pleasure - but this time I really enjoyed everything on my plate: bruschetta, pasta carbonara, a sandwich with mozzarella, pizza diavola, you name it! ROME, I'LL BE BACK!
